Career well-being at Brinker means providing growth opportunities right here. At Chili’s and Maggiano’s, nearly 70% of our promotions are among active Team Members.

Our Best You EDU educational program – at absolutely no cost for all Team Members – lets Team Members learn skills that matter in a way that fits into busy lives – from foundational learning such as bi-lingual coaching to GED and Associate’s programs. In its first year, nearly 2,000 Team Members are taking part. Aspiring managers get a leg up with Chili’s Certified Shift Leader program – on-the-job restaurant manager skills training that creates a career path in the restaurants. It’s accredited through the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation. We’re committed to enrolling 600 Team Members in 2019.

COMMUNITY

Brinker Family Fund – the non-profit is 20 years old and each year we raise more than $1 million, which helps more than 5,000 Team Members cope with natural disasters, serious illness, death or injury. Funds donated by Team Members for Team Members.

Women Taking the Lead is a program created in 2014 to develop our female leaders, elevating their career and strengthening skills as emerging leaders.

More than 50% of our Certified Shift Leader program participants are women.

St. Jude: From grass-roots to lasting commitment

Since 2002, Chili’s has raised approximately $68 million to support St. Jude’s mission. The Chili’s Care Center on the St. Jude campus arose from a historic partner commitment – $50 million in 10 years. And in 2016, Chili’s committed to raising $30 million for the St. Jude School program.
Make-A-Wish: Life-changing experiences for critically ill kids

Since 2003, Maggiano’s annual “Eat-A-Dish for Make-A-Wish” campaign has granted wishes to children with critical illnesses. Over the past 15 years, Maggiano's has raised more than $8 million and granted more than 1,100 life-changing wishes.

Hunger

Hunger can’t be solved overnight, but we can do our part to help those in need. We’re a restaurant company - feeding people and making them feel special is what we do best.

We host Give Back Nights that support local food banks, and backpack programs to help kids who struggle to make it through a hungry summer.

Teams at the Restaurant Support Center volunteer time to support mobile food pantries. Even in times of crisis, we can help - sending in volunteers to provide food and bottled water to weather-ravaged areas or communities reeling from tragedy.
