Position:                        Financial Reporting Manager

Job Summary:

Provide assistance to Director.  Manage the performance of approximately 4 financial reporting professionals. 

Plan, direct, and coordinate the preparation and in-depth analysis of the transactions and trends impacting the consolidated financial statements and the distribution of results to internal and external sources (SEC, KPMG, etc.); supervise and participate in research on accounting theory and intent; manage various ad hoc projects as requested on a contemporaneous basis; and ensure the expeditious conduct of the Company’s annual audit of financial records.   The position involves the ability to network with many departments within the Company and involves extensive verbal communication throughout Brinker and with external auditors.

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

·            Expert knowledge of corporate double-entry accounting and summary activity in the corporate books, propriety of reporting corporate financial results to internal and external outside parties, and GAAP.

·            Strong communication skills.  The position includes a great deal of writing and verbal communication to upper-management and the auditors.

·            Working knowledge of accounting and document processing procedures of Brinker International and of reporting requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission and other federal state regulator agencies. 

Work Experience:

·          5 - 7 years of accounting experience preferred (3 - 5 years in public accounting preferred). 

·         CPA 

·         College degree (Business Administration with Accounting concentration)
