Job Summary
- Function as the communications/management link on all
restaurant repair and maintenance and remodeling projects between Brinker corporate
management and the area, regional, and restaurants. Supervise and coordinate independent
contractors, the vendors, and the F.F. & E. manufacturers. Manage all remodeling
projects from beginning to end and keep corporate management informed.
Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions
- Perform investigations to determine the extent of the
qualifications of potential contractors and technicians of Brinker's remodeling work in
assigned areas.
- Determine contractor to be selected and schedule of
remodeling projects. Implement and ensure compliance.
- Assist in annual preparation and monitoring of operating and
capital budgets.
- Spearhead the negotiation of preventive maintenance
contracts. Determine award of contract.
- Direct the work of local PM contractors through site
inspections. Ensure cost effectiveness.
- Direct the work of regional contractors for HVAC,
refrigeration, etc. Ensure cost effectiveness.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the Senior Facilities Manager
and Operations on progress of remodel projects. Provide answers to calls from units on
R&M issues.
- Instruct Operation management on facilities related issues.
Develop agenda to present at Area Director meetings.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma plus four year college degree or
equivalent.
- 4+ years construction experience
