Position: HRIS Analyst

Job Summary:
Under
general supervision, supports development and maintenance of computer applications for the
PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS) through business requirements
analysis; consults with HR users and various managers throughout the corporation to help
solve business problems.
Key Performance Elements / Essential Functions:

Design,
test, and implement HR system solutions. Determine
user needs and coordinate associated activities with Information Technology staff; conduct business requirement sessions and
recommend business process improvements; write detailed specifications and ensure accuracy
of solution.

Supports
upgrade of PeopleSoft HRMS application process; provides detailed analysis of upgrade
changes and makes recommendations to ensure a smooth upgrade.
·
Design
and generate ad hoc management reports or system files, using application tools, to
support the information needs of the corporation.

Troubleshoot
system problems and take corrective action. Coordinates
changes to database and works with users and Information Technology to develop appropriate
data/information schemes. Recommends
efficient methods of data collection, entry and retrieval.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
·
Bachelors
Degree or equivalent
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
·
Knowledge
of human resources and benefits concepts and information requirements.
·
Basic
knowledge of payroll activities.
·
Ability
to identify problems, analyze causes, recommend and implement solutions.
·
Working
knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS databases and a
general knowledge of database structure.
·
Ability
to coordinate multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
·
Ability
to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels within the company, and
with external vendors regarding the capabilities and operation of personnel computer
systems.

Ability
to work independently.
Work
Experience:
·
Minimum
of 3 years experience with PeopleSoft HRMS databases.
·
Minimum of 3 years business/systems
analysis.
