Job Summary:

The recruiting coordinator will be primarily responsible for establishing thorough and efficient systems for assisting with all attracting, recruiting, and hiring managers for On the Border.  This person will handle multiple tasks, coordinate travel, and manage projects, and support a three person recruiting team. 

Job Task and Responsibilities:

The main components and tactics for this position include: 

Departmental organization:

·          Administrative Assistant to the Director of Human Resources

·          Book meeting rooms, keep meeting minutes and type agendas.

·          Answer and screen phone calls, log and clear invoices. 

·          Assist with Employee Relations Calls and complaints; route appropriately

·          Work with recruitment ad agency to update and maintain all brochures, and promotional items

·          Screen resumes and forward all qualified candidates to the appropriate recruiter

·          Send copies of all recruiting materials to the Franchise Community

·          Assist with referral incentives and promotional programs

·          Update people roster and manpower plans weekly

·          Update recruiter territory maps; distribute to all operators

·          Maintain “resume and no letter” database

·          Send no letters and proper correspondence to all candidates on behalf of the recruiters.

·          Sort and screen resumes off the internet; route to appropriate recruiters

·          Maintain all People Report communication and competitive information

·          Request referral bonus checks and maintain “logs” for proper disbursement

·          Compile weekly and monthly hiring summary

·          Communicate with college campuses: create and distribute “college campus kits”

·          Maintain college recruiting database and maintain relationships with Career Placement Offices

·          Administer candidate testing and score tests

·          Screen incoming potential candidates phone calls, answer questions about company

·          Call in new hires to payroll; send out new hire letters

·          Send out new hire packets and all MIT training materials

·          Update recruiting handbook and assist with orientation and systems training for all new recruiters

·          Coordinate monthly recruiting meetings and conference calls

·          Coordinate candidate and recruiter travel when necessary

·          May assist with screening Employee Relations Complaint Calls from the field.  Handle appropriately and document all calls.

Job Requirements:

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have excellent organizational skills.

Must have great phone skills and excellent client relations skills

Experience with Windows ’95, Word, Excel, Schedule Plus and working with databases.

Restaurant Operations experience a plus
